Welcome to TheGuitarGentleman.com
As a guitar tech since 2005, I understand the intricacies of guitar repair and maintenance. Whether you need a complete setup or a custom electronics installation, I’ve got you covered. Players can expect a top quality setup often with superior playability to when the guitar was brand new. I keep detailed records on the measurements I take, and I share them with players so we can both know the setup specs to help us quantify and dial in the perfect setup for you. I stand behind my work and offer re-adjustments on any setup for free within two weeks if you aren’t satisfied or if the instrument settles in from changing environments.
Since 2015, I have been offering private music lessons. Lessons are available both in-person and online. I use Zoom to teach online and have students all over the country. I believe that everyone has the potential to be a great musician, and personalized lessons will help you unlock your musical potential.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CMU, class of 2005. While I do not hold a music degree, I have been studying music, guitar technique and guitar repair with a large number of great instructors since 1995. I have studied with private instructors, taken several in-person masterclasses, online classes, about half the courses in music business at CMU, and some undergraduate training in primary and secondary education.
I combine my knowledge of psychology, education and music to create memorable and fun lessons that help you identify any roadblocks and achieve your goals in a fun and welcoming environment.
I love answering questions and I’m happy to be a musical resource any time for anyone!
